It inspired my coworkers to rewatch the series and introduce our interns to the show. What a welcome surprise to get to relive something I’ve loved for my whole life in an otherwise bleak season. Despite Mulder and Scully going from work colleagues to romantic partners over the course of 'The X-Files,' the actors. I have loved getting to hear about the X-Files through someone who enjoys it for so many of the same reasons that it absolutely captivated me as a kid. On the X-Files set, Duchovny and Anderson were anything but friends. The X-Files concerns all manner of unexplained phenomena, monsters and extraterrestrial life, from the bizarre to the terrifyingly commonplace, all the while. I had missed this entire podcast when it was originally posted, but I credit it as one of the things that buoyed my spirits during the first year of the pandemic. Perfect for both longtime X-Files fans and cautious newbies I can’t recommend it enough. Summary: This podcast is sharp, hilarious, poignant, and SO wonderfully nerdy.
